Translational medicine, systems biology, microfluidics, medical devices and instrumentation
Dan has lived all over the country but identifies most with the state of NJ (although TX, NY, AZ, and GA are great places too). He earned his BS in mechanical engineering from Rutgers University, and his MS in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech. After working for a few years in new product development at the medical products division of W. L. Gore & Associates, he decided to return to Georgia Tech to get his PhD. When not busy with school you might find Dan sampling various cuisines around town, or working on his pipe dream of being a music producer.
